Rev. Douglas H. Spittel, D. Min.
Former Parish Pastor
After 26 years as First Trinity's Parish Pastor, The Reverend Dr. Douglas H. Spittel has taken a position as the Vice President of the Concordia University System, providing ecclesiastical and mission assistance for the University system of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

The church will now undergo a call process to discuss possible candidates to become the next parish pastor. This will take time, but with prayer and careful consideration a decision will be made eventually. Prayers are greatly appreciated for both the congregation and The Reverend Dr. Douglas H. Spittel and family as we look ahead in serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Philippians 3:12-14
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
